Advice and representation is available in all areas of child care law including care proceedings and adoption including adoption with a foreign element. We are able to advise even before proceedings commence.
Our public law childcare team consists of Mark Evans and Robin Grove, all of whom are solicitors. Between them they have over 90 years experience. They are supported by a team of clerks and secretaries.
Mark and Robin are accredited members of the Children’s Panel of Solicitors.
All of our team are experience advocates and able to represent clients in the Family Proceedings, County and High Court.
We are able to offer prompt and speed advice to parents, other relatives, and children. We are regularly instructed to advise Barnados, Father Hudsons, NSPCC, The Children’s Society, and other public bodies.
We pride ourselves on our ability to offer an immediate response in emergency situations, and consistent and thorough representation is guaranteed for clients. Experts are instructed as and when appropriate, including psychiatrists, psychologists, paediatricians and interpreters to ensure clients are adequately represented.
The department has a Public Funding Franchise granted by the Legal Services Commission and therefore free advice is available for those qualifying.
Appointments can be made at very short notice.
